Low-income families cannot afford to acquire a biodigester due to the high upfront cost. Resinab bypasses this barrier by installing household digester at zero upfront cost. We implemented a system of monthly payments that is lower than what families would spend on firewood/charcoal to cook per month. This way, the technology is not only accessible to most, but also a source of savings.
Besides installing complete biogas systems, Resinab ensures that the transition is done smoothly. We guarantee personal assistance to the families under contract to respond to any need that might arise.
Education is a prerequisite for the success of any biogas project. Resinab provides to the families a proper education on the biomethanation process as means of waste management. This entails how to maintain their system, use the natural fertilizer, and maximize their revenues.
Resinab is actively seeking new ways to make biogas technologies more affordable. This means changes in plant designs, materials, transportation methods and efficiency of our systems. We create more value while reducing costs.
We will reduce indoor air pollutants such as CO, TVOC, PM2.5 and 10 by at least 90% for 500 families in Haiti before 2035.
Biogas as cooking fuel will significantly reduce charcoal consumption, hence alleviate the high pressure put on our forests.
Working with rural families in the agricultural sector will allow them to increase their production by using the natural fertilizer.
Participating in our program includes the creation of savings accounts. Using the biogas and the fertilizer allows the formation savings, necessary for the families' personal development.
